Commonly known as Jiji. Momo's childhood friend. He comes to stay at the Ayase house because his parents are hospitalized. The reason for his parents' hospitalization is an attempted suicide, which he believes is caused by a strange apparition that appeared in their house. He asks Seiko to investigate the cursed house, but since she is out of town, he goes to investigate with Momo and Okarun instead. He is Momo's first love, and the person who ridiculed Momo in the first episode. Always high-spirited and playful, he actually suffers from nightmares about the apparition every night and is sleep-deprived. He regrets ridiculing Momo and now harbors feelings for her.
