北方 北方（きたかた）

A bartender at "North Wind" bar in Shinjuku's Kabukicho. He was Ryuu's senior at the first bar Ryuu worked at, "Bar Kaze," and taught Ryuu all the basics of bartending. He's a rough man with a sharp tongue, but he accepts the bar's customers as "patients in a field hospital" and harbors deep kindness towards Ryuu and his mentor, Kase.
