Director of the Johzenji High School Volleyball Club. Coach at the prefectural first-year selected players intensive training camp. Aiming to rebuild the volleyball club that held the slogan "solid and robust" from the ground up, he introduced 2-on-2 practice methods, teaching players to think freely and play the game with creative thinking, leading them to the best four in the prefecture at the Inter-High preliminaries. He holds a high opinion of Hinata and even recommended him for the prefecture first-year selected players training camp (though this recommendation was turned down by Coach Washijou). Valuing players' free play in matches, he appreciates Hinata for not being bound by the concept of "the basics should be like this." The 2-on-2 practice method he introduced at the prefecture first-year selected players training camp earned praise from Coach Washijou. When he bowed deeply over the phone to Hinata, he wondered if Takeda Sensei from Karasuno was scary, feeling a sense of fear.
