Like Tenkō, [he/she/they] is a mid-level deity serving Ichiyō. Appearing as a small child, [he/she/they] belongs to a rare and valuable species called Shōshi. Depending on how they are trained, they become eloquent and can even play Xiangqi, making them a popular pet species. However, in Ichiyō's case, there is no sign of such training, so Kaka often behaves like a toddler. [He/She/They] are also not very friendly to others and often shouts insults like "Go away!" When Bii tried to drive Kaka out of Ichiyō's quarters, [he/she/they] temporarily transformed into a grown-up form. In that form, large wings sprout from where [his/her/their] ears would be, showcasing abilities like flying and controlling targets with [his/her/their] voice. Although [his/her/their] demeanor and speech become age-appropriate, [he/she/they] cry and wail when scolded by Ichiyō, showing that [his/her/their] mental age is not much different from usual. Ordinarily, [he/she/they] call Ichiyō "Sensei," but in the grown-up form, [he/she/they] refer to Ichiyō normally by name. Kaka's species undergoes a transformation after living for 3000 years, but Kaka was a unique case, having already transformed from birth. Therefore, [he/she/they are] said to be unmanageable by ordinary singers.
