SNAKE スネーク

A member of the "Noah's Ark" circus, who later becomes a footman for the Phantomhive household. A slender young man whose skin is partially covered with scales like those of a snake. He keeps many snakes and always has one wrapped around his neck, seemingly understanding the language of snakes. Generally taciturn and expressionless, when he does speak, he often says "...says (name of the snake)," speaking on behalf of the snakes. Having led a life shunned by others due to his appearance, he finds solace in the circus troupe and the Phantomhive household, which accepted him. Beyond simply controlling snakes, he possesses special skills such as sensing the temperature of snakes to understand the situation around him. While he played the role of a snake charmer in "Noah's Ark" and was the only member of the troupe not from an orphanage, he was not involved in the kidnapping incident and was unaware of the circumstances. After Joker and the others disappeared following an encounter with Ciel and his group, he became suspicious of Ciel, who had also vanished around the same time, and infiltrated the Phantomhive household with the intention of assassination (during the "Phantomhive Manor Murders" arc). Ultimately, Ciel lied to him, saying that Joker and the others were on the run and that he was still searching for them. Despite having different goals, this led him to serve the Phantomhive household once again in hopes of reuniting with them.
