Continued to collect information and deduce alone afterward but encountered Hisoka and was gravely injured. In Part 2, it is revealed he's still alive due to the Stopping Right and dug up by Yagibashi, then resurrected by a certain doctor. Afterwards, he acts as the brains of the team. Due to his strong mental fortitude, he doesn't succumb to insanity and revives instantly. He usually calls others by their last names, but during a trial at the Imperial City Medical University with Yagibashi, they called each other once by their first names, “Fujijuro” and “Ryouhei.” In an 8-panel format, he mainly takes turns with Yagibashi, who is questioning him.
