A demon who governs the sources of light and darkness. In exchange for granting a person's wish, they take the life of another as compensation. They always keep their eyes closed (though they can open them, as depicted in a scene from the TV anime ending) and move by floating in the air rather than walking. They were sealed in a sword in a hidden room of a treasury but manipulated a blonde hero through telepathy to draw the sword and release them. After being freed, they declared they would grant three wishes as a reward. To fulfill the first wish, "Kill Flio," they attacked Flio, inflicting a fatal wound on Fenris, who protected him. This enraged Flio, who beat them severely until they were near death. Subsequently, at Fenris's suggestion, they decided to accompany Flio as his subordinate, and Hiya accepted this, stating they would watch over Flio, who possesses infinite power. From then on, they referred to Flio as "The Supreme One" and Fenris as "The Lady." In the past, they caused significant damage by taking half the lives on the continent as compensation for a king's wish. In the case of the current blonde hero, the wish was smaller in scale, "to kill one person," so it only cost the lives of about a dozen people, including the first princess. Later, when Damarinas the Apricot revived and began rampaging in conjunction with them, they dealt with the situation with Flio's permission, compressing Damarinas into a small sphere and swallowing it to seal it. They seem to have no particular attachment to how they use their magic. When they saw crops, they suggested using magic to promote growth. Although Blossom expressed disapproval, they decided to use magic experimentally on one section at Flio's suggestion.
