A woman who acts as Satou's guardian after the death of her parents, living in "Room 305" of the apartment where Satou and Shio reside. Her real name is unknown. She rarely appears outside and stays at home, making it difficult for even teachers to contact her, leading Kitaumekawa to speculate that Satou might have killed her. Despite her alluring appearance, her body is covered in bandages and plasters. She can drive and holds a gold driver's license, but Satou describes her as a dangerous driver when she does get behind the wheel. She usually pretends not to be home, but if a handcuff (a key in the anime version) is dropped into the door slot with a loud noise, she allows entry. At first glance, she seems cheerful and friendly, but occasionally a creepy smile can be seen. She has an abnormal sexual preference, finding joy in accepting all of others' desires and provocations, even if it leads to violence or sexual acts, which she perceives as love. She appears to make a living from "that" and spends her days in "Room 305" without a job, having "collaborators" in various fields. Shouko finds her voice disturbingly kind yet lingering in the ears, and she had a significant impact on Satou's personality, having shown her a twisted form of affection since childhood, leading Satou to harbor feelings of disgust towards her. She has high insight, recognizing Shouko's desire for her "own prince" and sensing that Satou killed Shouko. She remains unfazed even when Satou denies her love. She acknowledges Satou's murders for Shio and their partnership as love but still sees Satou as a "cute child" who cannot uphold love alone and needs someone to rely on. After Satou kills Shouko, she helps with the cover-up and their plan to flee abroad. She understands Satou's situation to some extent and accepts Shio's presence. When Satou is about to flee the country, she expresses that she loved Satou as family and as a person, acknowledging her inability to act like family due to her personality, and bids her farewell with a smile. Later, she mistakenly believes Shio is in "Room 305" and visits, only to end up imprisoning Taiyou, who escapes and informs Asahi of her location. Unaware of this, she sets the apartment on fire to destroy evidence and surrenders to the authorities, getting arrested shortly after.
