On her first day of high school, Himari Kino fell in love at first sight with a senior she saw at the new students' welcome party, Yori Asanagi. Himari confessed her feelings to Yori, but Yori misunderstood them as romantic love.
Yori also fell for Himari's cuteness at first sight, but soon realized that Himari's feelings were not of love. Despite this, Yori couldn't give up on her and decided to make Himari fall for her seriously.
