In a great nation located in the center of the continent, there lived a girl in the imperial harem where the emperor's consorts resided.

Her name was Maomao.

She used to work as an apothecary in the pleasure district, but now she works in the lower ranks of the harem.

One day, she learns that all the emperor's children have been short-lived.
