Barestar

Barstar reigns as the lord of Remda, but his past is fraught with turmoil. Originally the son of a merchant from Remda, he aspired to succeed in commerce but had his talents denied by those around him. At his father’s urging, he set out on a journey to fulfill the mission of sealing the "Dark Foreigners." His father hoped that Barstar would learn much through this journey.

However, after Schtemwölech was defeated by Köinzell, Barstar began to live in fear of assassins targeting him and secretly harbored the flames of jealousy. His growing envy towards Glenn, who kept gaining strength, gnawed at his sanity until he impulsively attacked the Free City of Yuras Aplus. Yet, the vigilantes, aided by Köinzell and Elseria, launched a counterattack, turning the tide and even reaching Barstar’s own floating fortress.

Amidst the chaos of this battle, Barstar’s memories regressed, making him completely believe he was in the midst of the war with the "Dark Foreigners" from twenty years ago. Mistaking Köinzell for Ascheriit, who had come to help him, Barstar desperately clung to him, but in a cruel twist of fate, was cut down. This story depicts Barstar’s inner conflicts and the tragic destiny of being haunted by his past, leaving viewers with a strong sense of pathos.
