Originally, Bunbee is a field leader and executive for the Nightmare organization, supervising employees like Girinma, Gamao, and Arachnea.

After a string of failures and the loss of team members, Bunbee is demoted, and his department is dissolved.

He is later forced to change jobs multiple times as his circumstances deteriorate, eventually finding new work in the Eternal organization, and later even attempting minor jobs in the human world.

In combat, Bunbee transforms into a bee-like monster form with wings.

He wields two types of stingers—rapid-fire thin needles and powerful single-shot large needles.

These attacks are strong enough to pierce defensive barriers like Cure Mint's Mint Protection.

In "GoGo!", he gains the capability to fire multiple gigantic stingers at once.

At first, Bunbee is an executive in the Nightmare organization, tasked with stealing the Dream Collet.

He manages subordinates, delegates missions, and reports progress to his superiors.

He is strict with his team—Girinma, Gamao, and Arachnea—demanding results and threatening dismissal or ignoring them if they fail.

He privately resents his superior, Kawarino, but only ever complains behind his back.

After Girinma dies due to one of Bunbee's orders, guilt prompts him to show more care for his remaining subordinates.

Demotion and Isolation

As his team members die or are exiled, Bunbee is forced to take responsibility and is demoted from his managerial position.

His department is dissolved, and he is reassigned to a new section where he is neglected and given menial tasks.

His situation worsens with increased mockery and disregard from both superiors and colleagues.

Eventually, Bunbee reaches a breaking point—unwilling to watch his new subordinates be sacrificed, he submits his resignation from Nightmare.

Kawarino, enraged by Bunbee's resistance, tries to kill him by throwing him off the headquarters roof.

Miraculously, Bunbee survives, remembers he can fly, and flees the organization.

Eternal Arc: Fresh Start, Familiar Struggles

Bunbee reappears as a new recruit at the Eternal organization, attempting to reclaim status and take revenge on the PreCure 5 team.

Despite being valued for his information, Bunbee is at the very bottom of the pecking order, made to do chores and forced to wear a white uniform.

He attempts to assert himself over the more experienced Scorp but later forms a friendship after a joint mission, despite initially looking down on Scorp for his failures.

As stronger recruits arrive, Bunbee's opportunities dwindle, his reports are ignored, and his standing in the organization drops even further.

After being cast into the Eternal organization's basement maze by Anacondy, he escapes once again.

Wandering, Redemption, and Retirement

Bunbee is next seen working at a cake shop in the human world under the alias "Bunio".

He helps expose Mucardia's secrets to Nozomi Yumehara and Rin Natsuki, then flees the scene.

When Mucardia is wounded, Bunbee accompanies him to Eternal's leader and hopes to regain his position.

Witnessing the director's cruelty—eliminating even loyal followers like Mucardia and Anacondy—Bunbee completely renounces villainy.

Finally, impressed by the PreCure's perseverance, he confesses his decision to retire from evil.

He makes peace with the PreCure team and sees them off for the final battle, receiving heartfelt thanks as the only enemy called by name by Nozomi Yumehara.

Post-Series: New Life

After the battle, Bunbee starts over in the human world, founding his own small business, Bunbee Company.

He hires employees, including someone reminiscent of Kawarino, but struggles to keep his staff in line and has to handle most work himself.

In crossover movies, Bunbee appears among other reformed villains, even trying his luck at Cryas Corporation in "HUGtto! PreCure".

However, overwhelmed by the toxic workplace, he escapes, nearly starving until rescued by Hana and Ichika, grateful enough to share important information about PreCure 5 and Traum's plan.

Bunbee's huge variety of job experiences includes stints at Nightmare, Eternal, a cake shop, Bunbee Company, and even as subcontractor staff at Cryas Corporation.

He embodies the "working man's villain" and stands as one of the most relatable antagonists in the PreCure franchise, popular especially with older fans.
