Arachnea is easily recognized by her long, light pink hair styled in a sleek semi-long cut.

Her human guise features a vivid red suit jacket, a matching red skirt, and eye-catching red heels, giving her the air of a sophisticated career woman.

Upon transforming, she adopts the monstrous appearance of a spider, growing six spider-like legs from her back and showcasing light pink skin.

In her final, powered-up form, she becomes muscular and imposing, with elongated, scythe-like hands, thickened spider limbs, and four menacing eyes.

Arachnea has a towering sense of pride, seeing herself as an "elite among elites" within Nightmare.

She is hardworking and determined, often acting with pure confidence—or even arrogance—and is known for her blunt and sometimes harsh manner, especially when angered.

Highly rational and cunning, she crafts intricate strategies during combat.

Arachnea openly looks down on her colleagues Girinma and Gamao, and is not above trying to outmaneuver Bunbee, her superior.

She is also brave enough to stand up to Bunbee's sarcasm, never hesitating to speak her mind and defend her honor.

In combat, Arachnea transforms into a spider-like monster with six spider legs extending from her back.

She can fire webbing from these legs to attack, bind, and immobilize her opponents, making her a formidable foe, especially compared to Girinma and Gamao.

Her webbing doubles as a powerful defense, deflecting attacks such as Dream Attack with ease.

She is clever enough to use her webs to boost defenses for her henchmonsters as well.

After obtaining the "black paper," Arachnea's strength increases dramatically: she becomes physically larger, stronger, and gains additional eyes, allowing her to launch even more devastating attacks.

Arachnea serves under Bunbee within Nightmare but is never shy to argue with him, particularly when he taunts or belittles her.

She sees herself far above her colleagues Girinma and Gamao, looking down on them as incompetent.

Her loyalty is more to her ambition and pride than to Nightmare itself, propelling her bold decisions.

Role in Nightmare

Arachnea is introduced as a prominent member of Nightmare, assigned to Bunbee's division.

She is confident in her abilities and quick to assert herself as an elite, earning Bunbee's respect while showing open disdain for Girinma and Gamao.

Cunning and strategic, Arachnea attempts to capture the Pretty Cure team by exploiting their weaknesses and outsmarting them, such as luring and capturing three of them to use as hostages.

Final Showdown

After several failed missions, she is desperate to redeem herself in the eyes of Nightmare.

Determined, she asks Kawarino for the "black paper," a forbidden power source, ignoring Bunbee's warnings.

Empowered and transformed into her final, monstrous form, she engages in a last battle against Pretty Cure.

Despite her newfound strength, she is defeated by Pretty Cure's "Pretty Cure Five Explosion" and vanishes, becoming the second member of Nightmare to fall in combat.

Return in Movie

Arachnea later reappears in the movie "PreCure All Stars DX2: Light of Hope—Protect the Rainbow Jewel!"

She is revived by Bottom alongside Hadenya, briefly returning to confront Pretty Cure once more.

Arachnea is portrayed as the most logical and strategic villain among Bunbee's group.

She is the second Nightmare member to die in the main series.

Her appearance and abilities are reinforced in her return during the PreCure All Stars DX2 movie.
