Giebe Gerlach is Matthias' father and he has three body doubles. He had long been interested in Myne due to her strong magical power, but because of his close relationship with Bezewanst, he was regarded with suspicion by Ferdinand. During the Rozemyne assault incident, Bonifatius intuitively suspected him as the culprit, but no definitive evidence could be obtained. Ultimately, he became a target during the purge of the former Veronica faction, but succeeded in escaping to Ahrensbach.
