Nene Onemine

Class representative of 1st year, class 1 → 2nd year, class ? → 3rd year, class 4. A slender girl with a beauty mark as her charm point. She has a big-sisterly personality, is caring, and is attentive to those around her. She often looks after Tadano, who tends to have work pushed onto him, and Komi, who struggles to talk to others. She is one of the most sensible characters in the series and is considered somewhat unique at Itan High School, which is full of strong-willed students. Tadano describes her as "stable," "reliable," and someone he can "entrust things to," showing his trust in her. Her first-person pronoun is "atashi." She was the first classmate to notice the special atmosphere between Komi and Tadano and was the first to openly support the progression of their relationship. However, she rarely intervenes directly and often watches over them.

She lives in a modest, old, small single-story house. She has four younger brothers and, as the eldest of five siblings, takes care of them. During the summer break of her second year, she also looked after eight of her relatives' children, including toddlers, and managed to teach them to respond to roll calls in a short time.

She started spending more time with Ootori after preparing for the cultural festival, and due to the shared character in their surnames, they are referred to as the "Bibi" duo in the comics. They are close enough to call each other by their first names, such as "Kaede," in the story.

Her birthday is July 7th.
