While he is a playful person who drinks and parties all night with friends and smokes, he is also a top-class student with excellent grades. Despite being a delinquent with blonde hair and piercings in his cartilage, he is a charming and popular person who interacts with even the introverted classmates without discrimination. He doesn't dislike physical activities but hates track and field. He also dislikes mint-flavored things, so he uses children's toothpaste. He has a unique constitution that gets drunk on caffeine like coffee.

He diligently engages in social interactions and studies as if fulfilling a given quota. On the other hand, he feels no sense of accomplishment no matter what he does, leading to an empty daily life. He chose art as an elective subject to skip classes unrelated to university entrance exams. One day, he was captivated by a painting he saw in the art room and joined the art club. Gradually, he became more engrossed in drawing and began seriously aiming to enter an art university.

He has a fateful relationship with Ayukawa, a high school classmate and fellow art club member.

Gaining experience in the high school art club and at a prep school (Tokyo Art Academy), he rapidly improved his art skills. Overcoming troubles like poor health during exams, he successfully passed the entrance exam for Tokyo University of the Arts.

During the self-introduction with his work at the beginning of his first year at the university, he was overwhelmed by the high level of his classmates and was deeply depressed when his previous works were denied as not being real art. Although he temporarily lost his goal of pursuing painting, a conversation with Kuwana, whom he met again by chance at Ueno Zoo, inspired him to take a break from walking and decide to let his heart be moved by various things.

During the winter break of his first year at the university, he worked part-time at the Saeki Painting Class, but it was found that while he was well-received by parents, he was not popular with children.

Influenced by Mr. Meguro and student Shoya from the Saeki Painting Class, he became hooked on "Armed Biography Magender" and completed all 52 episodes.

When drawing, he wears overalls.
