Hanako Sakuraba

A student in the same D class as Yatora. When Yatora first saw Sakuraba, he thought she was an incredibly beautiful girl, as she has a well-proportioned appearance. She is a classic beauty with long hair and a good figure. Although she aspires to attend Geidai, she has failed the entrance exam twice. After failing the exam the same year as Yatora, she decided to work as a full-time employee at the bookstore where she had been working part-time, thus giving up on a third attempt to enter Geidai. To save money, she wore her school uniform as a substitute, leading other students to think she was a high school student. Because of her beauty, she was called "Venus" on her first day at the bookstore, but after wearing only eccentric clothes she received as gifts, she was called a "whale spender avatar" a month later. She often wears her uniform or overalls when drawing. She tends to avoid interacting with others and is quiet, but she seems to trust Mr. Oba, a lecturer at the Tokyo Art Institute. After the exam, when she came to pick up her belongings from Tobi, Sae Okada and Takuro Ishii from the same D class came by car because their luggage was heavy, but Hanako Sakuraba said she would carry it back with determination. It is unclear whether this is to save money or because she is confident in her physical strength. During a break from the D class exam, she arrived at the bone museum second after Yatora and roughly adhered to the meeting time, indicating that she is generally serious by nature.
