Reiji Otogi is a character appearing in WITCH WATCH, currently serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump.
He is the father of Morihito Otogi. Like his son Morihito, he is a descendant of ogres. His wife, Morihito's mother, has passed away. He is a rather plain-looking man who wears glasses, but while not as skilled as Morihito, he has mastered ogre techniques and taught Morihito everything he knows.
Although he appears serious, when explaining the duty of being a familiar to Morihito, he made a rather airheaded remark: "If I could become the familiar of a high school girl, I'd absolutely do it," when Morihito showed disbelief.
Since the start of the story, he has been on an overseas long-term business trip, so in the main story, he only appears in the very first chapter. Afterward, he appears in Morihito's flashbacks and similar scenes.
