A general of the Majin tribe in the demon nation of Garland, characterized by his red hair and dark skin. A fanatic of the Alv religion worshipped by the Majin tribe, he takes pride in being a Majin and looks down on other races. He is also a conqueror of the Seven Great Labyrinths, possessing spatial and transmutation magic. He commands a white dragon named "Uranos," which he progressively strengthens using transmutation magic.
During the battle at the Gruen Volcano, he launches a surprise attack using "spatial magic" and severely injures Hajime with the aurora breath, but is blown away by the self-destruct attack of the Cross Bits and Tio's tornado. In the royal capital invasion, he fights Yue, but Yue's fury over Hajime being hurt is tremendous, and both he and Uranos suffer a great blow. Witnessing Hajime annihilate a hundred thousand monsters in an instant with "Hyberion," he reluctantly retreats.
After repeated failures and severe losses, he nobly accepts his punishment, but the Demon King gives him a new mission along with five hundred apostles of the god Ehito. After conquering the Ice Cavern, he kidnaps Myu and classmates and confronts Hajime and his group, luring them to the Demon King's castle. After Ehito's descent, he shifts to the divine realm with him.
In the final battle, as Alv's successor and an apostle of Ehito, he dons pure white battle attire and wings, and is granted the ability to use magic without chanting and disintegration magic like the apostles, clashing fiercely with Tio. He commands numerous gray dragons against Tio, and although it seems he has won by inflicting a fatal wound on Tio, it turns out to be a ploy to trigger Tio's Dragon God Manifestation, and he is utterly defeated by its overwhelming power. At the end, nearly dead and with his contract with his familiar Uranos supposedly severed, he sees Uranos protecting him and recalls why he challenged the great labyrinth before becoming an apostle of the god, choosing to die as a general of the demon nation's army alongside Uranos.
The increased activity of the Majin tribe is due to Freid beginning to create powerful monsters using transmutation magic. By that time, he should have known the true nature of Ehito, and even after being told that Alv was an apostle of Ehito, he should have been outraged at Ehito instead of blindly adhering to his faith, indicating he was already being manipulated by the apostles, thus earning Hajime's pity.
