Third-year student and former captain of the Senan High School volleyball team.

He is the only third-year student in Senan and retired after suffering a major defeat against Shiratorizawa in the Interhigh Prefectural Qualifiers. A kind-hearted captain who encourages and motivates his juniors during matches, he rushed to the venue of the Spring High Preliminary against Karasuno and inspired his juniors, including Towada.

Recognizable by his three-antenna hairstyle, he is affectionately called "Akki-kun Captain" by his juniors.
