Nobuo Shimazaki is a high-ranking member of the Takahara Academy. He is often seen with Kondou, with whom he gets on very well.
During the Self-Defense Forces attack, he joined Yuuko Aoshima's camp with Kondou to implement the Noah Plan. With Kondou, they join Baba and take care of Maru. After the Great Catastrophe, they put him in an orphanage.
After Kondou and Baba's departure, Nobuo will join Manaka Mikura in Toyonaka, where Old Heaven is located, then in New Heaven in Suita.
