A former member of the DIY Club who now serves as its advisor, Haruko Hoketsu is the school nurse, always stationed in the infirmary. She has a fondness for pickled kelp. Born into a wealthy merchant family from the Tohoku region, her parents frequently visit Japan on business trips, and each time, she supported Kokoro Kōki during their stays.
As the club advisor, she accompanies members during beach outings and hazardous activities, providing support for their endeavors. When club materials were accidentally discarded, she asked the former members, "Please let me do something worthy of an advisor," and actively arranged for a large amount of supplies, playing a key role in the club’s operation.
