Abo

The commander of the Harusame Fleet, Abo, is often called the "Foolish Admiral" by members of the organization. However, he is not actually ignorant. He felt threatened by the rise of Kamui, the leader of the 7th Division, and attempted to capture Kamui by using both Shinsuke Takasugi and Kourou. In reality, he also planned to eliminate Takasugi. However, the situation completely changed when Kamui saved Takasugi and the two joined forces. Abo tried to escape by boarding a small ship, but Kamui destroyed the vessel with him still on board.

Abo, a slightly overweight Amanto, serves as the commander of the space pirate Harusame. He is ridiculed as "Foolish Admiral" by Kamui and other members of the 7th Division, almost called "Idiot Admiral" by Shinsuke Takasugi, and referred to as "Dunce Admiral" by Bansai Kawakami.

In the story, Abo starts to panic over the rising power of Kamui's 7th Division. He allies with the Kiheitai and manipulates Takasugi and Kourou, the leader of the 8th Division, to capture Kamui and have him publicly executed. However, just before the execution, Takasugi sides with Kamui and launches an attack. Trying to report the incident to the Elder Council, the higher-ups of the Harusame, Abo attempts to escape on a small ship, but Kamui pursues and destroys the ship, killing Abo.
