She is a student of the private Hyakkaou Academy and a member of the Traditional Culture Research Club. During the official matches held in the clubroom, both against Mary Saotome and Yumeko Jabami, she was responsible for handling the pendulum for the vase. In order to cheat, she pierced her hand and disguised it with a fake mole. During the official match, she attempted to cheat by embedding a single magnet inside one of the swords and holding the pendulum with a magnetized hand. However, her scheme was ultimately uncovered by Yumeko Jabami.
