Shin Cutlass

A young, small-statured swordsman with dark skin, who speaks informally even with elders and Staria. He is cheeky and hates losing. A dual-wielding swordsman, his strikes set things ablaze. Despite his youth, his sword skills are recognized within the brigade. He was appointed as the swordsman leader by Yugo when the Silver Armored Brigade decided to flee the country.

Upon hearing that Garm was defeated by Ragna, he became hostile towards Ragna. Although he eventually confronts Ragna, he predictably loses. However, learning from Garm that Ragna's strength is not purely due to talent, he continues to persistently challenge Ragna.

During the war arc, he challenges Ragna right after Ragna loses a skill contest against Taratectra and finally wins once after the 70th duel. He admonishes Ragna for refusing assistance, which causes Ragna to rethink his position. However, while tracking Taratectra alongside Ragna, he is left behind by the newly awakened and even stronger Ragna, realizing again the difference in their abilities.

During the raid on the capital, he engages in battle against Orto Zora along with other members. Garm shields him, preventing an instant death from Orto Zora's first frenzied strike. Although he loses his right arm and left leg, he charges at Orto Zora out of pride as a member of the brigade. He protects Hezla from Orto Zora and contributes to the brigade's victory.

After the war, he, like Staria and the others, is taken under Crimson's protection. He declares that he will soon catch up to Ragna, who is heading to hunt the next bloodline.
