Within Sword Art Online, he becomes the leader of the guild often abbreviated as "MTD."

Despite his position, his lack of strong leadership and his hands-off approach lead to serious internal problems.

After returning to the real world, he resumes running "MMO Today."

Following the Alfheim Online incident, he marries Yulier.

Thinker is conflict-averse, preferring harmony and cooperation over confrontation.

He is calm, soft-spoken, and naturally inclined toward supporting and organizing others rather than dominating them.

As a leader, he leans heavily toward a laissez-faire style, trusting members to manage themselves.

Approaching the end of the game, Kibaou rises to prominence inside the organization.

Kibaou gradually takes de facto control, and Thinker loses most of his practical authority and influence.

The growing chaos and lack of unified direction eventually lead to the breakdown of the guild’s internal order.

This collapse culminates in the dissolution of the guild near the end of the Aincrad arc.

Following the disintegration of his guild, Thinker reflects on his failures as a leader.

Rather than giving up, he decides he wants to rebuild a player mutual-aid organization from scratch, learning from his past mistakes.

His resolve is to create a cooperative structure that can genuinely support players without repeating the earlier power struggles.

This demonstrates his strong sense of responsibility and enduring belief in community.

Once freed from Sword Art Online, Thinker returns to his work on "MMO Today."

He resumes operation of the site, continuing to engage with the online gaming community as an information provider.

After the events of Alfheim Online, he and Yulier formally marry.

Their relationship, forged through crisis and cooperation in the death game, becomes an official partnership in the real world as well.

In the anime adaptation, Thinker is shown attending the "Aincrad Clearing Commemoration Party" held at Agil’s shop together with Yulier.

This appearance highlights his continuing connection with former Sword Art Online players and friends.

When the new "Aincrad" is added to Alfheim Online as an updated area, Thinker joins the game as a player.

This shows that, despite everything, he still enjoys online worlds and remains involved in MMO culture.
