Ryūji Maesaka

A member of the Sunset Ravens. A young man with brown hair. In combat, he wears a skull mask and bulletproof gear, specializing in suppression using a machine gun. His hobbies include billiards and he enjoys Western music. Initially, he was an adversary to Kaname during their first encounter in the "Treasure Hunt Game," but later, like Rein, he temporarily teamed up with Kaname to survive, which eventually led to him becoming a member of the Sunset Ravens. His ability is a superhuman-level sensory expansion ability called "Lie Detector (True or Lie)," which allows him to discern if the person he's speaking to is lying. However, he cannot detect if someone believes something incorrect, nor can he directly know the truth, making him less effective against those who evade rather than lie. Although initially considered a not very useful ability, it proved extremely powerful in negotiations, allowing him to discern the truth from others and perfectly detect humanoid Greeds just by looking at them, making him an irreplaceable asset.
