Ren Sakakibara

A male student with a handsome appearance, characterized by his undercut hairstyle and sharp eyes, serves as the student council secretary. He ranked third overall in the first semester midterm exams. With a refreshing personality and literary talent that earns him the title of a poet, he boasts a track record of sweeping humanities competitions. On the other hand, he approaches female students with a suave, flirtatious manner, and his romantic history with girls is countless. Coming from a wealthy family, he hosts parties at his home with friends and provides luxurious dinners for sports festival celebrations. His significant donations to Kunugigaoka Academy have earned him a high status within the school, and due to his academic prowess, second only to Gakushu, he is one of the few who can converse with him on relatively equal terms, even being called by his first name by Gakushu. Unlike other members of the Five Virtuosos and students from the main campus, he does not engage in harassment under the guise of the E-Class system, nor does he overtly look down on E-Class with direct insults or sarcasm, making him relatively sensible among the main campus students.

In the first semester final exams, he ranked third in Japanese, following Gakushu and Kanzaki. Influenced by the chairman's guidance, like other members of the Five Virtuosos except for Gakushu, he temporarily developed a competitive spirit against E-Class. However, in the second semester final exams, he dropped to eighth overall in the grade, falling out of the top five, and was the first among the Five Virtuosos to openly reject the chairman's educational policies.

When he entered university, he became a reader model, but his bad habit with women did not improve, reportedly causing trouble because of it. In the first live-action movie, he is the only member of the Five Virtuosos to appear.
