Nino Nakano

The second daughter of the five sisters. She is characterized by her twin-tails tied with black ribbons. Her image color is black. She calls Fuutarou "Uesugi." Among the quintuplets, she is good at English. She is a spirited and hysterical sharp-tongued person, but she is the most sensitive among the sisters and is considerate of them, such as being hostile to Fuutarou to protect her sisters or striving to watch the fireworks festival with all of them. She likes cooking and pays attention to fashion, showing high femininity, and is sociable with many friends, including Yamada (voiced by Hisako Tojo) and Ootori (voiced by Kaoru Sakura). According to Miku, she is a sucker for good looks.

Initially, her rough behavior was noticeable at times, but gradually her speech became more typical of a high school girl. She was the most annoyed and openly hostile towards Fuutarou when he intruded into the quintuplets' home, but after learning that the tutor would be fired if even one of the five got a failing grade, she saw it as an opportunity. However, as time passed, her attitude softened, and she began to gradually become more aware of him as a member of the opposite sex.

She seems to like Fuutarou's face when he dyed his hair blonde, but initially confessed without knowing they were the same person. She developed feelings for Fuutarou, who wore a blonde wig (nicknamed "Kintarou"), during the school camp, but later found out it was Fuutarou, and although she was shaken, she sorted out her feelings and confessed to him. After confessing, she tries to make Fuutarou recognize her as a member of the opposite sex rather than just a student.

After advancing to the third year and deciding to split the rent equally among the sisters, she started working part-time at the cake shop "REVIVAL" to be with Fuutarou. She actively approaches Fuutarou and, like Ichika, does not hold back for the other sisters, but she plans to win Fuutarou over in a fair and square manner. Also, she started calling Fuutarou "Fuu-kun" instead of just "Uesugi."
