His arrogance is evident in the way he treats allies, enemies, and even his intended “bride” as mere tools for his ambition.

Thrym possesses an enormous body so large that it is difficult to fully grasp his scale at a single glance.

His colossal frame emphasizes his role as a king of giants and makes him a dominant, intimidating presence in any confrontation.

Thrym uses his shape-shifting ability to take the form of a wolf and secretly infiltrate Urd’s Lake.

There, he throws the holy sword Excalibur into the waters, severing Jotunheim from the World Tree’s blessing and transforming it into a harsh, frozen world.

Once Jotunheim becomes a land of ice and snow, Thrym moves to occupy it as part of his greater plan for domination.

At the same time, he accelerates the extermination of Urd’s followers to erase any remaining resistance to his rule.

To further his scheme, Thrym exploits the greed and curiosity of Alfheim Online players.

He offers them a quest with the fake sword “False Sword Caliburn” as bait, hoping to lure large numbers of players into unknowingly helping him wipe out Urd’s remaining kin.

After Urd requests help, Kazuto Kirigaya (Kirito) and his friends accept her quest and eventually come face-to-face with Thrym.

He initially believes he can manipulate them and use them as disposable pawns, since they are outsiders who desire powerful rewards.

Thrym also arranges to welcome the goddess Freyja into his domain, intending to take her as his bride and keep her under his control.

The turning point comes when the truth about “Freyja” is revealed: she is actually Thor in disguise.

Once Thor recovers his divine weapon, the thunder hammer Mjölnir, he regains his original power and turns against Thrym.

In the ensuing battle, Thor’s restored might overwhelms the Frost Giant king.

Thrym is defeated by Thor, bringing an end to his ambitions to conquer Jotunheim and eradicate Urd’s followers.
