The Reveal of His True Identity
During attacks on Module 77 and later the Moon, Cain shows his true abilities by stealing Valvrave II using hidden crystals given by Prue.
Some of his actions raise suspicions from H-neun and Kriemhild, who notice changes in his behavior.
His identity as a Magius is eventually discovered by people close to him, since he now has no access to Cain’s old memories and makes contradictory statements.

At the New JIOR Summit on the Moon, Cain works with Amadeus to use Saki Rukino and reveal the Magius’ resurrection abilities to the world.
This secret leads to the global "WIRED" broadcast and triggers violent hunts for the Magius, causing tragedy worldwide.

Final Battle and Death
When Amadeus’ real identity is exposed, Cain pilots the upgraded Dainsleif and fights against traitors like A-drei, X-eins, and Haruto Tokishima (who had taken over L-ELF’s body).
He easily defeats X-eins’s desperate attack and claims, "We are the true justice protecting world peace, and those who reveal the truth are the real villains."
However, Haruto counters that people build walls of lies to protect each other when hurt.
Cain is eventually overwhelmed by a fierce attack from Haruto, who uses up all his RUNE power, and Cain dies from his wounds.
Just before the end, Cain frees Prue from the Valvrave engine, and dies in the explosion of his own machine.
Cain was once an honored hero, famous in Dorssia for his bravery.
Before being possessed, he always told his students to protect others and stand strong on their own.
After being taken over by a Magius, all of his former beliefs were erased, making him appear as a completely different person.
