Megumi Fushiguro

Megumi Fushiguro, a first-year student at the Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College and a classmate of Yuuji Itadori, is a Grade 2 sorcerer born on December 22, 2002. He is the son of Toji Fushiguro, and his name Megumi was given by his father. He comes from a branch family of the prestigious Zenin clan. Both of his biological parents have passed away, and since first grade, he has lived with his older stepsister, Tsumiki. After graduating from Saitama City Urami Higashi Junior High School, he enrolled in the Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College. He has known his homeroom teacher, Satoru Gojo, since before entering the school.

Megumi met Yuuji when he came to search for Sukuna's fingers stored at Sugisawa Third High School. When Yuuji swallowed Sukuna's finger, Megumi initially tried to exorcise him as a curse, but later pleaded with Gojo to save Yuuji. On the other hand, he has expressed a lack of desire to save a juvenile delinquent who committed crimes such as hit-and-run without a license, emphasizing his own moral judgments.

During his middle school years, Megumi was troubled, but the reality of his sister Tsumiki becoming bedridden due to a curse led him to question why good people who deserve happiness often do not receive it. This motivated him to become a sorcerer to help as many good people as possible experience equality. He prefers women who have an "unwavering humanity" like Tsumiki. His favorite foods are those that go well with ginger (not ginger itself), and he dislikes bell peppers. He often reads true story books and chooses very comfortable clothes for loungewear.

Megumi uses a technique called "Ten Shadows Technique" (十種影法術), which involves using his shadow as a medium to summon various shikigami (spiritual creatures). This technique is also a traditional technique of the Zenin family. His combat style mainly involves long-range attacks using multiple shikigami in coordination, although he is not adept at close combat and initially was not accustomed to using cursed tools. However, he became more proficient with cursed tools after practicing with Maki before a goodwill event. Just before the event, he discovered that he could store and retrieve all kinds of cursed tools within his shadow, and he also transported Maki's tools.

Megumi's technique is versatile and even cautious enough to alarm Sukuna, but he has not yet mastered it fully, leading Sukuna to call him a "waste of a treasure." Gojo has pointed out that Megumi thinks he can solve everything by unleashing his "trump card" and potentially sacrificing himself, which is why he hasn't been fighting with full intent.

During a battle with a special grade vengeful spirit at the Yaso Bridge in Saitama, Megumi unleashed his full power and, although incomplete, achieved Domain Expansion to defeat the curse. In the Shibuya Incident, he encountered his father, Toji Fushiguro, resurrected through enemy necromancy, but did not recognize him as his father. After being severely wounded, he prepared to die and summoned his trump card shikigami, Mahoraga, but was rescued by Sukuna. Following the incident, with the death of Naobito Zenin, Megumi became the head of the Zenin family and joined the efforts to quell the Culling Game from Tokyo's first barrier.

His shikigami include:

- Divine Dogs (white and black), which were destroyed and merged into a new shikigami.

- Nue, a skeletal bird capable of flight and electric attacks.

- Orochi, a giant snake, and several others like a frog, an elephant, and a rabbit, each with unique abilities.

Megumi's Domain Expansion, "Chimera Shadow Garden," is still incomplete and can only be used in enclosed spaces. It covers the area in liquid shadow, from which numerous shikigami emerge to attack, and allows him to create duplicates of himself and dodge attacks by merging into the shadows.
