Jahy has dark skin and long purple hair.

Her hair has wild tufts that look like animal ears, and she wears her hair in a single long braid down her back.

When she is in her original form, Jahy is tall and strikingly beautiful, wearing a very revealing belt-like outfit.

But after losing her magic, she appears as a small girl, wearing only an oversized white T-shirt with "Demon Realm Revival" written vertically on it.

Sometimes, it even looks like she is wearing nothing but the T-shirt.

Jahy will still go outside in her old, bold clothes when she returns to her original form, but she often gets stopped by police for improper clothing.

Jahy always calls herself "I" in a grand, old-fashioned way, showing her proud and bossy attitude from her days in the Demon Realm.

She looks down on everyone and acts like a queen.

Now, as a powerless little girl, most people just see her as a child trying too hard to act grown up.

This hurts her pride, since she was once feared and respected by all demons.

Even though she is poor and often struggles even for food, Jahy never gives up.

She tries hard every day to get magical crystals, even if her plans usually end up in failure or more trouble for herself.

Despite her pride and stubbornness, she can be caring, especially towards Kokoro Sasaki, and does her best to keep Kokoro safe from strange people.

Jahy has a weakness for sales and ends up wasting her few coins on things she does not need.

Jahy was once the chief advisor to the Demon Lord in the Demon Realm, holding the rank of number two in power.

She had strong magical abilities, high rank, and beauty.

She was known for getting rid of unloyal followers with her own hands and enjoyed a life of luxury.

After a surprise attack from a magical girl who shattered the magical crystal, Jahy lost her powers and was sent to the human world.

She now lives in a 40-year-old rundown apartment and works at an izakaya bar to survive.

In the Demon Realm, Jahy was very powerful, second only to the Demon Lord.

She had great magical and physical strength.

After falling into the human world, she lost almost all her magical power.

With the help of leftover magical crystal pieces, Jahy can return to her original form for a short time each day.

She normally uses this power for her part-time job at the izakaya.

Jahy was very loyal to the Demon Lord, working hard to keep the realm running well and always bringing gifts to the Demon Lord.

She drove her workers hard, but she was not lazy and took her job seriously.

Jahy also knew Druj, who once worked for her.

Now Druj is very successful in the human world, which makes Jahy both embarrassed and unhappy.

She refuses to use Druj only for money, keeping some sense of pride.

She cares about Kokoro Sasaki and tries to protect her from bad influences.

Life in the Demon Realm and the Fall

Jahy was feared and respected in the Demon Realm for her power, pride, and beauty.

She lived surrounded by luxury and was second only to the Demon Lord.

One day, a magical girl attacked, shattered the magical crystal, and destroyed the Demon Realm.

Jahy lost her magic in the process and was thrown into the human world, now stuck as a small, powerless girl.

Daily Life in the Human World

Now, Jahy lives in a cramped and old apartment.

With little money and no magic, she must work at a local izakaya to survive.

She can use what little magic remains to change back into her adult form for a short time, but she spends that time working at her job.

Jahy spends each day looking for magical crystals to restore her magic and revive the Demon Realm.

Challenges and Changes

Jahy’s queenly behavior and old habits do not fit in the human world and often get her in trouble.

She struggles with simple chores, with daily meals being mostly bean sprouts or potatoes.

She makes silly money mistakes, like wasting her coins on sales and gadgets she does not need.

But slowly, she learns more about humans, about real friendship, and about praise—something she never got in the Demon Realm.

Friendship and Growth

Jahy starts as proud and distant, but the pure kindness of Kokoro Sasaki begins to warm her heart.

She starts acting more like a friend and less like a queen.

She becomes more caring, helping a lost baby bird or worrying about Kokoro’s safety.

Although she still has her old spending habits and pride, Jahy is slowly learning to enjoy simple things and be a better friend.

The demons in "The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated!" are inspired by the Daeva from Zoroastrian teachings.

Jahy is based on a demon named Jahy, who in the stories is both the lover and mother of Angra Mainyu, the leader of the seven great daevas.

This is why Jahy is described as closest to the Demon Lord and is number two in rank, right behind the Demon Lord.
