James Moriarty

The boss of "Banquet". An elderly man characterized by his sunken eyes resembling those of a reptile. Once known as the "Napoleon of Crime," he orchestrated numerous intellectual crimes and controlled the dark side of London. A former mathematics professor, he refers to himself as "Professor." He is the one responsible for turning Tsugaru into a half-human, half-demon.

In 1891, he was defeated by Holmes at Reichenbach, fell into a waterfall, and lost his right leg, but survived. Afterwards, he headed to Asia and hid in Qing China, but his encounter with Jack, who came to visit him, led to the formation of a new criminal organization, "Banquet."
