Chika Fujiwara

The heroine of the work. A female student in class 2-B → 3-A in the high school division. She is the student council secretary and a member of the table game club. She is the second daughter among three sisters. Born on March 3rd, her blood type is O.

In the table game club, she is called "Fujiiwara-chan." She loves overseas travel and ramen. Although she has been praised for her menu choices and manner of eating ramen by ramen connoisseurs, she has also made misguided comments about the food she has eaten, embarrassing herself. She dislikes tomatoes and refers to herself as "watashi."

She has semi-long wavy hair with a "Jet Black Ribbon" tied at the front. She has a large chest and is often envied by Kaguya. She is cheerful and kind-hearted, but also highly natural and somewhat of an airhead, often being told she "can't read the room," which she doesn't care about at all. She likes seeing others frustrated and taunts those who are scared, often showing her bad side. However, coming from a family of politicians (her great-grandfather was a former Prime Minister and her uncle is a current Minister), she is not dumb and took the lead in fabricating campaign promises during the student council election arc. Being the daughter of a former diplomat, she is multilingual and speaks five languages fluently, but struggles with her native language. After being influenced by "Ice Kaguya," she retired, but she won a gold prize in a national piano competition during elementary school, and has musical talent recognized even by Iino as a "true prodigy." Her grades are average, but due to getting caught up in Kaguya and Shirogane's psychological battles, her rank has steadily dropped.

She has been friends with Kaguya since middle school and has stood by her side when Kaguya was isolated. They often have sleepovers, and they have a good relationship despite what others might think. When asked about her likability rating, it was lower than Shirogane and Ishigami, and she was excluded from Kaguya's considerations about new student council members. Shirogane sees her as a safe person to expose his weaknesses to without caring about what she thinks, leading to their awkward training sessions. Although she doesn't have romantic feelings for Shirogane, she thinks she would rather die than date him, but this largely stems from the negative impression left by their training. Nonetheless, her ideal male type matches Shirogane’s traits. Ishigami constantly points out her absurd behavior, labeling him as a "picky guy who constantly criticizes" and a "narrow-minded nit-picker," yet she doesn't dislike him. She views Miko, who respects her, as an easy girl who gets in a good mood when casually praised, treating her as "a new toy" according to Kaguya and "someone who thinks they can get away with anything" according to Ishigami.

She is entirely unaware of the "love intelligence wars" between Kaguya and Shirogane but often plays the role of a trickster who unknowingly resolves stalemates or introduces more chaos. She frequently shows a shrewd side, like setting up bluffs and cheating in card games, which get seen through by Shirogane and Kaguya. Yet, she cunningly leads teachers to overhear anti-Shirogane talk during student council elections, demonstrating her slyness.

Due to her extremely protective family, she is forbidden from owning gaming consoles and indulging in popular entertainment, leading her to have deep, unconventional hobbies that others might not understand. Consequently, the photo texts she sends Kaguya are often strange. She claims to have no romantic experience but calls herself "Love Detective Chika," showing intense interest in others' love stories and actively involving herself. When encountering discussions about the morality of stolen love, she retreats and pretends not to have heard.

She calls herself a "low-carb girl," faithfully doing muscle training for 30 minutes every night and striving for diet through running and electric-assisted bicycle rides. However, her love for ramen and sweet things like tapioca frequently gets her scolded by Ishigami, to which she responds, "Shut up or I'll kill you?"
