Yaichirō Shimogamo

The eldest son of the Shimogamo family. He has a serious personality. He possesses transformation abilities that rival those of Yasaburō, and is particularly known for transforming into a tiger, earning him the nickname "Kamo-tora" (Duck Tiger). Usually, he transforms into a young master in traditional Japanese clothing. He can also operate the mechanical rickshaw inherited from his father. He has a strong sense of responsibility as the eldest son and strives to become a respectable tanuki like his late father. However, he is inflexible and tends to panic and become confused in emergencies, making him weak in critical situations. He is running in the election for the next "Nise-emon" to carry on his late father's will. As a result, he is troubled by his brothers' incompetence and Yasaburō's eccentric behavior, and although he dislikes disputes, he becomes uncontrollably furious when his family is insulted.
