Mika Nitta

Mika usually wears a tracksuit as her daily clothes because she is not very careful about her looks. She does not spend much time on fashion or makeup. Mika gives off a tough vibe, matching her athletic personality.

Mika is very self-centered and often acts on her feelings without much thought. She is loud, messy, and sometimes inconsiderate of others. Mika gets into trouble because of her short temper and stubbornness. She enjoys drinking and can handle a lot of alcohol, making her a true heavy drinker. Despite her rough ways, Mika is honest and doesn’t pretend to be someone she is not.

Mika is two years younger than Yoshifumi Nitta. She used to work at a local government office, but one day she quit her job with no real plan. Mika moved from her hometown to Tokyo, where she now lives with her brother.

Mika is a black belt in karate. She is physically strong and often uses her karate skills. When she was a student, she sometimes got in trouble for using dangerous martial arts moves and picking fights with delinquent students.

After moving to Tokyo, Mika’s selfish actions cause trouble.

During a game with Hina, Mika accidentally hits Hina’s neck with her elbow.

Hina avoids Mika because of this, saying she doesn’t want to become like her.

Becoming Karate Club Adviser

In volume 12 of the manga, Mika gets a job as the karate club adviser at Teihen High School.

She continues to use violent training methods, often hitting members Yamanaka and Adachi.

They call her a “crazy monster” because of her behavior.

Confrontation With Yoshifumi

Mika’s mother tells her to become financially independent and stay in Tokyo.

Mika makes a deal with Yoshifumi to stop her violent teaching if she loses to him in a match.

Yoshifumi, with help from Hina, lands a clean but non-injuring karate move on Mika, causing her to admit defeat.

Mika is still the advisor, but she tries to hold back some of her violent habits now.

The creator says Mika Nitta is “someone who was born in the wrong time and gender.” This means Mika’s wild and strong personality is unique and hard to fit with others.
