Tasuke Kurokono is a mysterious character who once fought alongside Gintoki Sakata, Kotarou Katsura, Tatsuma Sakamoto, and Shinsuke Takasugi during the Joui War. Despite his important role backing them up from the shadows, his presence was so subtle that even his former comrades forgot he existed. In a later story, Tasuke Kurokono played a crucial part in protecting his old friends from a trap by warning enemy members to back down, showing his loyalty and exceptional fighting skills. His real face and true background remain hidden, making him one of the most mysterious figures in the Gintama universe.
Tasuke Kurokono's face is never shown in the story.
His hair is black, which is different from his model, Tetsuya Kuroko, who has light blue hair.
He always blends into the background, making him hard to notice.
Tasuke Kurokono is quiet, dedicated, and prefers to support others from the shadows.
He avoids being in the spotlight and works hard as a backup for those he cares about.
He is also thoughtful, as shown when he warns enemies not to make big mistakes.
Tasuke Kurokono was active during the late-Edo period, when Earth was invaded by aliens.
He was part of the fighting group with Gintoki Sakata, Kotarou Katsura, Shinsuke Takasugi, and Tatsuma Sakamoto.
The group was once called the "Generation of Miracles," and he was the man who always supported them behind the scenes.
Kotarou Katsura said Tasuke Kurokono was the "fifth phantom man" (Five Man) of their group.
He joined the second Joui War after Teruhiko Saigou and others retired.
Tasuke Kurokono is an excellent fighter.
He once fought with Gintoki Sakata and could easily defeat soldiers from the Kiheitai army.
Because he acts behind the scenes, his fighting skills often surprise people.

Forgotten Comrade
Tasuke Kurokono once fought as a comrade in the Joui War with Gintoki Sakata, Kotarou Katsura, Tatsuma Sakamoto, and Shinsuke Takasugi.
Kotarou Katsura describes him as a support who never stepped forward and always worked in the background.
Because of his ability to be a "shadow," Tasuke Kurokono's presence was so weak that his friends forgot he even existed.
Reunion Trap
Later, a reunion is held with Tasuke Kurokono's name on it.
This meeting is actually a trap set up by Henpeita Takechi and Matako Kijima, who plan to attack Gintoki and his friends.
Tasuke Kurokono discovers their plan and warns Matako Kijima to escape before becoming a real "demon," convincing her and other Kiheitai members to leave.
He does this to protect his old friends.
Remembered by Gintoki
Only Gintoki Sakata remembers talking to Tasuke Kurokono before falling asleep at the party.
Even though he played an important part in battle, people continue to forget about him.
No one knows exactly what Tasuke's face looks like, and his age is guessed to be about the same as his old friends—late twenties.
