He is called "Sakunosuke" by close friends like Dazai and Ango.

He used to be an assassin, but after reading Natsume's novels and being told by Natsume to do so, he aspired to become a novelist. For the sake of his dream, he made it a principle not to kill people and personally took care of orphans who lost their parents in the Ryūto conflict. Because of this, he came to be known as the "mafia who absolutely does not kill people" and was considered an oddball.

His innate combat ability is extremely high, and during the conflict with "Mimic," he showed remarkable prowess, single-handedly annihilating the enemy despite having no support.

He died in the battle with "Mimic" that occurred four years ago, which was the direct cause of Dazai leaving the mafia.

Heaven-Sent Talent

A precognitive ability that allows him to observe the future that will occur between five and six seconds ahead. This enables him to preemptively avoid ambushes from blind spots, but it has the flaw that if he detects a future crisis, he cannot avoid it if he is already caught in a trap.

The ability name is taken from a short story by the literary figure Sakunosuke Oda, who shares the same name as the character.
