Sentaro Daimonji is a quirky, sneaky young master of martial arts tea ceremony from Ranma ½. Known for mixing strange martial arts with traditional tea practices, his biggest claim to fame is trying to get out of an arranged marriage, only to surprisingly end up engaged to a girl named Chazuki Miyakoji. While not a strong fighter and often up to sneaky tricks, he is one of the only characters in the story to actually get engaged by the end. His catchphrase, “Shee!” reveals his silly, over-the-top personality.

The Martial Arts Tea Ceremony Fiancee Plan
Sentaro Daimonji is supposed to marry Chazuki Miyakoji as part of his family’s tradition.
He does not want this, so he looks for a way out and becomes interested in Ranma Saotome, who is disguised as a girl at the time.
He tricks Ranma with a paralyzing tea and kidnaps him.
When Ranma wakes up, he is in a wedding dress, and only Sentaro Daimonji could have changed his clothes.
New Target: Akane Tendou
After learning Ranma is actually a boy, Sentaro Daimonji decides to make Akane Tendou help him by defeating the substitute bride in martial arts tea ceremony.
Akane fails badly at the tea ceremony, so he tries to find another way.
He wants Ranma to help again and presents him as his “bride” to the family head.
In the chaos of a big fight, Sentaro Daimonji tries to escape with Akane Tendou and uses the paralyzing tea on Ranma Saotome again.
Unexpected Engagement
After all kinds of trouble, Sentaro Daimonji ends up engaged to Chazuki Miyakoji, making them the only couple in the story to actually get engaged.
In the anime version, because he is too weak, his family does not accept the engagement at first, but in a later holiday special, Sentaro Daimonji and Chazuki Miyakoji are shown to be together and happy.
