The editor-in-chief's son and an employee at a nearby mushroom research lab. He uses his parent's connections to visit Hotaru. He has somewhat of a stalkerish nature and is a homosexual. Originally a huge fan of Hotaru's picture books, he "fell in love at first sight" upon meeting him and started frequent visits. With Komako, he has a love triangle relationship, calling each other "bitch" and "serious" over Hotaru. He also has quarrels with Kinokoinu over Hotaru. Initially, he had an eccentric hairstyle close to a mohawk, but after clashing with Kinokoinu, Komako cut part of his hair, resulting in an undercut-like style.
