Inori Yuitsuka

The protagonist of the story. A girl who belongs to the figure skating club "Lux Higashiyama FSC" and aims to win an Olympic gold medal in figure skating. She is a fifth-grade elementary school student, born on April 16, with blood type A. At the start of the story, her height is 134 cm, making her one of the smaller characters among the many elementary school students featured in the work. In her childhood, she admired her older sister who skated and wanted to do it herself, but was compared to her talented sister and branded as "incapable" by her mother, which crushed her dreams. Feeling sorry for her situation, Sekoma, a staff member at the skating rink, offered her the chance to learn figure skating secretly from her parents under the condition that she would collect worms as food for the small birds he kept. Through Sekoma's basic guidance and self-study using textbooks, she developed skills comparable to other skaters of her age.

Due to the circumstances mentioned above, she has a passion and determination to skate more than anyone else. With Tsukasa's recommendation, she persuades her mother and starts skating somewhat forcefully. Under Tsukasa's guidance and through intense effort, she blossoms her innate skating talent and builds a strong trust relationship. As a skater, she is characterized by high skating skills and careful expressiveness taught by Tsukasa, a former ice dance skater. On the other hand, she struggles with jumps, which is often depicted as a challenge to overcome.

She likes living creatures, worms, and skating. She dislikes math and kanji, and was considered a poor student at school because she couldn't memorize multiplication tables. However, after finding something she could truly dedicate herself to in "skating," her evaluation improved, and during the junior training camp, she found skating-related classes not difficult at all.
