The director of the childcare facility "Wakaba Park" is an elderly man. Although he is strict, short-tempered, and speaks in a rough manner, he is also compassionate. When E-Class students broke the rules and engaged in free running outside of class, he got caught up in an accident caused by Taiga Okajima and ended up with a serious injury that would take two weeks to recover from. Under the pretense that "This incident stems from the lack of proper supervision of my students, so as their homeroom teacher, I must apologize and show sincerity," Korosensei, despite it being a taboo, revealed his true identity and background to Matsukata, making him one of the few people privy to this secret, but Matsukata kept it to himself.
During the two weeks of his recovery, E-Class students regularly visited the facility, gained the trust of the children living there, and renovated the heavily deteriorated Wakaba Park into a two-story building, achieving results far beyond the duration of his recovery. Grateful, he saw them off with goodwill. Later, he visited the Kunugigaoka Junior High School cultural festival together with the children from the facility.
After the assassination was completed, a portion of E-Class’s reward money was donated to the facility, which astonished both Matsukata and Sakura Kiyashiki. Following E-Class’s renovations, the facility began to gain media attention, additional staff were hired, and the management of Wakaba Park stabilized.
