Giruu

Giruu's past is marked by tragedy. Humans, pursuing his mother, hunted ogres, resulting in massive casualties among the ogre community. In the aftermath, Giruu's parents—his ogre father and human mother—were blamed and ultimately lynched by the very ogres they belonged to.

Before his father's death, he told Giruu, "Not acting in the face of injustice is cowardice." This is a phrase Giruu has taken to heart. Guided by these words, Giruu trains diligently every day, striving to protect whatever is precious to him.

Previously, Giruu served as a retainer for Bairo and Kissmitete. After the tragedy at Barbagore, he rescued Hiiro and raised him with care. Giruu is skilled in cooking, and he was the first to notice Hiiro’s talent as a mage.

When Hiiro left home on his own, Giruu—along with Palpa—set out to find him. Upon locating Hiiro, he joined him on his journey and continued to support and look after him.

With a strong sense of justice and a devotion to those he loves, Giruu stands as a steadfast guardian, mentor, and protector in Hiiro’s life.
