Leonhart

Demon King. Usually called "King" by Sariphi. He possesses a strong sense of self-esteem appropriate to his status, but he also has the capacity to respect those he acknowledges.

He is a hybrid of demon and human. Because of this, on the "Day of Revelation" or the "Night of Revelation," he appears as a young human man with long black hair and horns in Yoana, but in Ozmalgo, he takes the form of a beastman with a lion's head with a black mane, two goat-like horns, sharp claws, and a dog-like tail. On the Day of Revelation, when sacrifices are offered, he loses his magical power and appears in human form, but he keeps this fact hidden and secretly sends the sacrificial princesses back by shedding his own blood and faking the sacrificial ritual each time.

Since he did not have a personal name, he was called "King" (and "Prince" during his youth) by those around him. However, Sariphi, recognizing his bravery in risking his own body to help the sacrificial princess escape, gave him the name "Leonhart" in Yoana, which means "brave heart."
