Rin

A mysterious man who appeared before Eiden and the others, possessing the ability to manipulate people's hearts and monsters. He gives off an ominous air. He has a strange attachment to Eiden while loathing those around him, believing that the clan members do not need to exist.

Using any and all means to accomplish his goals, he acts cruel and unfeeling. He has no ordinary view of good and evil.

Rin appears to be roughly the same height as Eiden but his exact measurements are unknown. He has long purple hair that is very dark at the roots and lighter at the ends. In an earlier version of the game, he was shown to have the same brown eyes as Eiden but they were permanently changed to be yellow soon after. He has an unknown gemstone in the shape of two small different-sized balls pierced into his tongue. His nails are painted black.

Rin's outstanding personality trait is how obsessed he is with Eiden, to a degree that is considered unhealthy and dangerous. He desires to have Eiden only to himself, going as far as declaring to eliminate all the other clan members for him, whom he harbors a deep hatred for. When met with resistance from Eiden, he seems genuinely confused but is willing to use force all the same.

Rin is a product of Huey splitting his consciousness into two, inheriting Huey's memories, magic, and knowledge, while Eiden inherited the other half. Though they have traits that belonged to Huey, they are both separate beings from him.

Eiden and the clan are attacked by monsters. Eiden almost falls over, but Rin catches him. Rin does not introduce himself, but says he will see Eiden in the future, and leaves.
