One of the SAO players caught in the death game. As of September 28, 2026, in the story, she is a high school senior, the same grade as Asuna and Liz. She is a short-haired woman with golden-brown curly hair and refers to herself as "Ore-tchi."

A former beta tester of SAO and a pioneer "information broker." Due to her appearance, with three whisker-like lines on her cheeks since the beta test period, she is known as "Argo the Rat." She sells any information that can be sold but is an excellent information broker with a sense of propriety. Right after the death game began, she revealed herself as a beta tester and compiled her information into a guidebook, which she distributed to players for free. As the game progressed, she started charging for her information in the form of a magazine, which contained highly reliable information and aided the clearing group.

She has a cunning personality and speaks in a straightforward, masculine manner. In the story, her sentence endings are expressed in katakana. She calls Kirito "Key-boy" and Asuna "A-chan." Her laughter is expressed as "Nya-hahaha."

After the SAO incident, she did not attend the returnee school but instead enrolled in a high school in her local area in the southwestern part of Kanagawa Prefecture. While being a student, she worked as a writer and researcher for MMO Today. Her main responsibilities included hardware-related topics and presenting possibilities in the exclusive recipes of the Seed Nexus.

In the UR arc, she continues her relationship with Kirito and Asuna and independently investigates the whereabouts of a SAO survivor named Menthol, who had connections with "Laughing Coffin."
