Louise is the daughter of Gustav and a 12-year-old girl. She was born physically weak and, due to a disability in her legs, is unable to walk. Having been abandoned by her parents during her early childhood because the villagers found her difficult to care for, she has endured a harsh fate. Seeking to prove her own worth, she makes a consequential decision and becomes drawn into the central events of the story.
Louise was born with poor health and paralyzed legs, causing her to spend most of her life confined to her room. Due to her disability, the villagers felt burdened by her presence, and when she was four years old, the day before a festival, her parents abandoned her in the northern forest as "one less mouth to feed." However, she was saved at that time by Jutte, who managed to keep her alive. In order to prove her usefulness, Louise later exposes the fact that Jutte, who had been hiding in the village, is in fact a werewolf. Because of this action, Louise becomes revered as a symbol of hope for the village. However, tragedy strikes when she is later discovered with her entire body brutally mangled. In truth, after being abducted a year earlier by Jutte (Nora), Louise had resolved her feelings about her past actions, as well as the treatment she received from her parents and the villagers, and had chosen to cooperate with Nora’s revenge. She was prepared to face death as part of her decision.
