Nokoko Inaka

Ms. Nokoko is a country bumpkin.

First year, Class 1 → Second year, third year unknown. A girl who hasn't quite adapted to city life. She is self-conscious about being from the countryside and tries desperately to hide it, but her accent gives her away, so everyone in the class knows she's from the countryside. She secretly admires Komi as a city girl. She is well-versed in rural outdoor activities like grass play, river fishing, and insect collecting, and teaches various things to Komi and her cousin Akira. She refers to herself as "Wadasu."

In fact, her family home is in the countryside where Komi's grandmother Yuiko lives, and she accidentally encountered Komi when she returned home for New Year's and worked a shrine maiden part-time job with her. She had known Yuiko for a long time and was used to calling her "Komi's grandma," but when she reunited with Komi at Yuiko's house during the second year's Obon, she realized that Yuiko's "Komi" was the same as Shōko's "Komi."

As of Volume 21, she is not included in the "Can I make 100 friends?" list.
