Ryuji Takasu

The protagonist of this work. Due to his intimidating eyes inherited from his father and his sanpaku eyes, he is often mistaken for a delinquent or a punk, which has become a complex for him. However, in reality, he is gentle, caring, serious, and meticulous, embodying an exemplary student with excellent grades and good conduct, and he rarely gets angry. His hobby is reading foreign interior design magazines. His friends call him "Takacchan" or "Takasu," and Taiga was the first to call him "Ryuji."

He lives in a single-parent household with his mother, Yasuko, in a room on the second floor of an apartment. He is skilled in household chores, and Ryuji does most of the cooking, as well as being good at sewing and cleaning. When it comes to cleaning, he loves it so much that he can become engrossed in it, neglecting play, and he doesn't miss even the slightest dirt, making him a cleaning enthusiast. Additionally, Ryuji handles the shopping, and perhaps because he is involved in the Takasu family's finances, he is knowledgeable about supermarket sales and is often described as a "househusband."

He has feelings for Minori. By chance, he learns about Taiga's romantic situation and, under the pretext of helping each other achieve their romantic goals, he starts taking care of all aspects of Taiga's life and mishaps.
